OUR HISTORY
THE IDENTITY
Founded by Nelson W. Pereyra, a first-generation American, AfroLatindio was born from a pursuit of identity. It embraces the Dominican “mestizo” mix: a historical fusion of African, Spanish, and Taino Indian beginnings that defines our unique heritage.
THE INCEPTION
Emerging from the hit show New York Undercover, Nelson joined forces with Robinson Pereyra, Jose Santos, Luis Columna, and Lucy Reid. Together, they sought to create urban films with a universal message that transcends color and culture.

Collaborating with giants like Paramount and Warner Bros, our mission is to be storytellers that touch the human heart. We impact lives through a model structured with equity, vision, and the power of the human soul.
